Our Ethos

At SnowTribe, we respect this beautiful ecosystem that surrounds us and seek to reduce our impact on the environment in order to preserve it for generations to come.  It's important that we come together to protect this unique playground.

Working with organisations who share our ambition to make a positive impact on the environment and with local suppliers who place an emphasis on sustainability is of paramount importance to the SnowTribe team.

We select our partners carefully, working closely with them to pursue our common goals.  To supply its skiwear, SnowTribe selected Lagoped, a local company that minimises the environmental impact associated with the production and supply of ski clothing.

SnowTribe donates its time and some of its profits to local grassroots organisations who are dedicated to raising awareness of environmental issues.

See below to discover more about these organisations who, like SnowTribe, have consciously made the choice to make a difference.  Our aim is for us and our clients to leave nothing more in these mountains than their tracks on the snow.

Coming soon: 1% for the Planet membership, a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to come together to create a healthier planet via annual memberships and everyday actions.

SnowTribe instructors wear locally sourced clothing made by Annecy-based Lagoped, a company which makes ski wear manufactured entirely from recycled materials produced in France and Europe.

Montagne Verte in Morzine aims to provide solutions for mountain dwellers to minimise their environmental impact. It compiles helpful information and resources for local businesses to make greener decisions.

Established in 2001, Mountain Riders is committed to raising awareness of sustainable development within France's mountain regions. It encourages all stakeholders to work together to engage in responsible tourism.
